In 2024, I picked up a beautifully complex sculpture kit from an artist celebrated for weaving Chinese cultural motifs into his female portrait work. The piece was meant to represent winter, but I felt inspired to shift the palette toward bright, summery tones instead. This model was my first truly complex build, and it pushed my skills in unexpected ways. Its heavy, off‑center design made it tricky to assemble, so I created a granite base to anchor the piece and keep the final artwork stable.

Olivier Villoingt, known for his artwork inspired by Nordic and Celtic mythology, created this beautiful piece depicting a wise owl comforting a young owl nestled in its feathers. This hand‑painted, single‑piece sculpture was completed in 2022.

Darth Vader Samurai
3D Resin Print
I printed this kit depicting Darth Vader in a highly detailed samurai aesthetic. To elevate the presentation, I printed the lightsaber and base in translucent red resin and modified the base by hollowing it out and adding an internal LED for a striking illuminated effect.
